The Stone House is a very pretty recently renovated property tucked away in the heart of the village, a 200 metre stroll up a footpath from the village square. The name comes from the exterior of the house which is clad in local volcanic stone. Once a "canava", it was originally used to produce the sweet dessert wine, Vinsanto, which is unique to the island of Santorini. Two cylindrical troughs, once used for distilling the wine, have been preserved to made unusual interior light features.

The house is accessed by an enclosed cobbled courtyard, with private plunge pool (2.7 x 4.2m, depth 1.3m), which can also be used as a Jacuzzi, with four massage jets to one side of the pool. There is an outdoor dining area in the courtyard as well as two pool loungers and an umbrella. The property is perfect for a couple looking for a small, traditional and uniquely Santorini home on the island. Minimum stay at this property is 3 nights. Transfers from/to Santorini port or airport, as well as a rental car are included in the rental.

There is one open plan room which serves as a sitting room and a double bedroom, with TV and DVD. Kitchenette, equipped with 2-plate hob, fridge, kettle and toaster. Bathroom (shower only).
