This beautifully restored property is situated in the heart of the
picturesque village of Bargemon, about 35km from Draguignan. The apartment
is on the ground floor and has its own entrance. It has a beautiful
private terrace, 40m² with views towards the mountains. The terrace
is south west facing and is partially covered; has two loungers and
garden furniture for outdoor meals. The house is in a narrow village
street so parking is in the free village car park about 200m away. The
accommodation is spacious and light, having large windows, and the interior
is tastefully furnished in contemporary style.
Accommodation
There is a spacious living room, 30m², with a very high ceiling,
about 4m. This room has comfortable seating, a television, dining area
and two sets of French windows opening onto the terrace. The kitchen
is separated from the sitting room by a counter bar. It has a built-in
oven, 3-ring hob, a dishwasher and a fridge-freezer. There is also a
washing machine. There is a bedroom with wide double bed, 160cm, on
the mezzanine. This overlooks the living room and has a ceiling height
of 180cm. There is a bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and WC.
Situation
The house is situated about 30m from the village square with its fountain
(see photo above) and café. There are 7 restaurants in the village.
There is a boulangerie 100m and a supermarket 200m. There are tennis
courts 500m and an open air swimming pool, also 500m, which is open
in July and August. Bargemon is an ancient Provençal village
which was once fortified; it has narrow streets, attractive old squares
with fountains, and a 12th century church. This is a wonderful area
for hiking as there are many paths and trails, and the scenery is beautiful.
Other villages to visit nearby include Claviers, Callas and Seillans.
The Verdon Gorges are also only a short drive. There is a bathing lake
about 25km away at Saint Cassien and the coast is about 50km.

Electricity is included in July and August. Linen is provided. Refundable
damage deposit EUR 150.
