30km coast
This traditional Provençal stone cottage is in an elevated position and there are wonderful views from the terrace over the surrounding hills and countryside. The house stands on its own and has extensive grounds, mainly on a slope, but there is a flat area immediately around the house. There is a very pleasant terrace for outdoor meals under the lime tree and there is garden furniture and a barbecue. The interior is of a simple standard, but it is very attractive and is mostly painted white with bright Provençal fabric.

Accommodation
This is on two floors. There is a combined living/dining room with a fitted kitchen area at one end of this room. The kitchen is well-equipped and has a 4-ring hob, oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is a downstairs shower room and WC. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, 140cm, and the other with twin beds which may be made up as a double. There is also a bathroom with bath, hand-held shower and WC. There is a washing machine in the basement.

Situation
The house is in an attractive rural location, about 4km from Fayence and about 25 minutes drive from Grasse, the perfume capital of the world. Fayence is picturesque , lively village with a good selection of small shops and restaurants and there is also a big supermarket about 4km from the house. There is an excellent bathing lake about 15km away, at Saint Cassien and the coast is about 30km. The coastline along the Corniche d'Esterel between Cannes and St Raphael is very beautiful. The nearest sandy beach would be Mandelieu La Napoule. Inland, there are picturesque Provençal villages to explore such as Seillans, Bargemon, and Saint Cézaire.

Linen and terms
Linen hire may be arranged with the owner for EUR 12 per person for bed linen and towels. Electricity and heating are extra.
