This is a delightful apartment situated to the rear of the French owners' house and at garden level. It has its own entrance and is completely self-contained and not overlooked. There is a small garden with private terrace for outdoor meals. The pool is completely secluded; it is not visible from the house and there are panoramic views over the hills from the pool terrace as the property is high up on a hillside. The owners are discreet and respect tenants' privacy. They rarely use the pool when tenants are there. There are loungers for sunbathing on the terrace by the pool. The interior is light and cheerful and is prettily decorated in blue and white - the owners call it La Maison Bleue.

Accommodation
There is a combined living/dining room with sofa, television, CD player and dining area. This room opens on to the terrace and there is garden furniture for outdoor meals. The kitchen area is separated from the living room by a counter bar. The kitchen is very well-equipped with electric cooker, large fridge-freezer, electric kettle and a washing machine. There is a separate bedroom with a wide double bed, 160cm, and an en-suite shower room and WC.

Situation
The property is situated about 800m from the centre of Pégomas. There are several good restaurants in the village and an excellent boulangerie. There is a supermarket and quite a few other shops including a farmers' market which sells organic meat and local produce. You can walk to town but it is a steep walk home. There are tennis courts 1.5km and golf 7km. The nearest beach is at Mandelieu, about 8km. Grasse is about 10km and Cannes is also easily accessible, about 9km. From Mandelieu through la Napoule and into Cannes there is a series of sandy beaches with restaurants over looking the sea and cafés on the beach. From a cultural point of view, there are many interesting places to visit including the medieval village of St Paul de Vence made famous by artists such as Bonnard and Picasso. There are pretty villages nearby such as Biot, Tourettes sur Loup, Gourdon and the spectacular scenery of the Gorges du Loup is not to be missed. Italy is a short drive or train ride from Cannes, and there is an excellent market at Ventimiglia every Friday.

Linen is provided but please bring pool towels. Refundable damage deposit EUR 150. Electricity and heating are included.
Final clean EUR 25 (compulsory). Extra cleaning available, EUR 10 per hour.
