Situated close to the Dordogne river village of Mauzac, this charming house has been thoughtfully restored to offer comfortable accommodation in a very quiet and peaceful setting, surrounded by woodland and fields.

From the paved area which runs along the front of the house there are immense doors which lead into the sitting room with open fireplace. There are steps down to the kitchen/dining room which has doors opening to the side and back of the garden, where there is a covered pergola overlooking the pool. On the ground floor there are three bedrooms, two bath/shower rooms and two WCs. From the sitting room stairs lead up to a 'snug' on the mezzanine which is equipped with TV, telephone and comfortable chairs, ideal for relaxing with a good book. Opposite the house is a well-equipped laundry room and separate storage room. The original restored breadoven also nestles in this corner of the garden.
